In 2012, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention declared that one of every two Americans over age 30 has periodontal disease. The disease can also affect children, and if left untreated has very serious health consequences. Aside from tooth loss, there is a known correlation between gum disease and heart problems.

Dr. Rogers’ practice offers periodontic treatments as part of our general hygiene program. We provide care for both prevention and treatment of gum disease. Laser therapy is a technique used to easily isolate and remove diseased cells while leaving healthy cells untouched. This process can be used to effectively treat early to moderate gum disease.

If you have questions about how periodontal maintenance can be beneficial to you or your family, please contact us today.
